VMSK-4 Russian Naval Flight Suit - Orange Outer Suit |
|
|
The VMSK-4 Flight Suit is
high-visibility orange in color (and is extremely resistant to
fading).
The VMSK-4 has four tags inside the single outer shell - these tags show that the single orange coverall, with the dry suit velcro'ed in and the sweater actually sewn onto the dry suit, are actually a single outfit. The VMSK-4 + VMSK-4 Orange outer flight suit. You can see from the pictures below that the VMSK-4 has pressure hose fittings for attachment to the PPK-1YK and to the VZK-3M. Also, this is the new model that has the hood as part of the suit. The hood is velcro'ed to the back of the suit during normal operations and is large enough to wrap completely over the ZSh-7 if needed. The vents on the sleeves can be opened or closed to release built up pressure. This suit has eight pockets. There are two on the lower legs that are not zippered. There are two zippered pockets on the upper leg and two breast pockets. There are two pockets at kidney level on the back and this is where the three-fingered dry-suit gloves are located (one glove in each velcro'ed pocket). There is a mirror velcro-covered on the sleeve (shown in the bottom tag picture). The sweater is sewn at the neck and in the sleeves. |
